Role: Logistics Coordinator, LVMH Fashion Group Middle East
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated, committed, and passionate candidate for the position of Logistics Coordinator to join the operations team within LVMH Fashion Group Middle East. The role is based from our Dubai head office, reporting to the Head of Operations.
LVMH Fashion Group regional hub supports the operations of CELINE, GIVENCHY, LOEWE, Kenzo & FENDI for the GCC region. Key Responsibilities:
• Luxury Retail Freight Forwarding & White-Glove Logistics: Coordinate multi-modal international freight (with a heavy focus on high-priority Air Freight). Partner with specialized white-glove 3PL providers to handle events, also good negotiator for rates and Leadtime.
• Operational Transport Management Coordinate and monitor daily transport expeditions, covering both inbound and outbound flows.
• Ensure the correct execution of shipments from planning through to final delivery.
• Maintain visibility on loads, routes, incidents, and operational priorities.
• Tracking and Incident Management Detect, record, and resolve transport incidents such as delays, failed deliveries, damages, or service deviations.
• Coordinate with carriers, warehouses, and internal teams to implement necessary actions to minimize operational impact. Proactively follow up to ensure agile and effective responses.
• Exotic Materials & CITES Compliance: Serve as the regional subject matter expert for the import and export of luxury goods containing restricted materials (e.g., crocodile, alligator, python leather, or specific wood elements in accessories). Coordinate with the forwarder for the application, tracking, and physical inspection clearance for all CITES.
• Saudi Arabia SABER Management: Manage the compliance workflow for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Ensure all apparel, footwear, and accessories are correctly registered on the SABER system , coordinate with testing bodies for Certificates of Conformity (CoC), and issue Shipment Certificates to eliminate delays at Saudi customs entry points before the shipment arrival.
• Certification for Beauty & Fragrances: Oversee the regulatory clearance for the brand's cosmetics, skincare, and fragrance lines. Coordinate directly with the Ministry of Health ( MOH ) or local municipalities (like Dubai Municipality/Montaji in the UAE, or SFDA in Saudi Arabia) for product registration, ingredient compliance, and health certificate clearance.
• Customs Clearance & Duty Management: Direct customs clearance activities across all major regional airports. Manage duty exemption applications, free zone regulations (e.g., JAFZA), and handle complex temporary imports/re-exports for regional fashion shows or press events.
• Boutique & Retail Operations Alignment: Work closely with Boutique Managers, Visual Merchandising to synchronize logistics arrivals with commercial seasonal launches and promotion calendars.
• Support the team in prioritizing and resolving daily operational issues.
• Reporting & Presentations: Manage, compile, and present comprehensive shipment reports and performance KPIs to brand stakeholders to help evaluate boutique operational efficiency and stock availability.
• Ensure clear, rapid, and effective communication among all involved parties.

Profile:
Warehousing Knowledge: Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and their workflows.
Regulatory & Specialized Knowledge: Profound practical knowledge of CITES regulations, permits, and documentation requirements for exotic skins and luxury goods.
Knowledge in Customs clearance: Thorough understanding of Dubai trade system, GCC Customs laws, Harmonized System (HS) codes for fashion textiles and luxury accessories and intra-GCC transfers requirements.
Administrative Control and Invoicing Review and validate transport invoices according to agreed rates and services provided. Manage invoicing discrepancies and support accurate cost allocation.
ERP Systems Proficiency: Hands-on knowledge of SAP, CEGID, or related retail ERP/WMS platforms is highly advantageous.
Rigorous with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Able to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment. Hands-on and organized.
Fluent in English language is a must, additional languages is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and manage relationships with numerous complex stakeholders.
